Tom Cain, President of Wing Point Construction, Inc., honed his carpentry skills through observation and hands-on-learning. During his married years he made additions to houses his family lived in, enjoyed it, and always knew he wanted to start a business building houses. This opportunity materialized in 1989 when he built his first house on Bainbridge Island. This was the start of Wing Point Construction. Initially his company focused on small projects, remodels and office refurbishing. Then, in 1992, Tom contracted to build single family residences and has enjoyed having many satisfied clients since. The size of Wing Point Construction homes have ranged from 1,600 to over 5,000 square feet. The emphasis has always been on quality construction, proper siting on the lot, and dollar value commensurate with the neighborhood.

In 2005, son Todd moved his family from Encino California to become a partner in the business. With over twenty years working in construction, Todd has extensive background in remodeling and building homes. He also brings a strong background in budget and scheduling from his years working as a director of construction for one of the largest golf course management companies in the US. He has overseen not only multiple construction jobs at any one time, but he has also worked intimately with clients to make sure that no job is too small or too large to be done correctly. Todd is able to track multiple details of a job, whether it is making sure there is a common theme throughout a house or making sure you have enough places to put all your books. Todd believes that planning and preparation prior to building your dream house is just as important as finishing it.
